Using the platform
The Talent Team is provided by The Talent Team LLC so that independent contractors can request, confirm and work shifts at events we staff for our clients (for example Jiu Jitsu World League tournaments) and be paid for them. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Your account
Keep your contact details accurate; we use them for shift confirmations and pay. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
Shifts
Requesting an event is not a guarantee of work. Assignments are made by Talent Team coordinators. A booking you have not confirmed by its deadline may be released to someone else. If you confirm and cannot attend, tell us in the app as early as possible.
Pay
Workers are independent contractors of The Talent Team LLC, not employees of The Talent Team LLC or of its clients. Pay is based on the position's pay basis shown in the app and on approved time. Payouts require a completed W-9 with a matched TIN and a payout method on file, either for you or for the payee you designate. The Talent Team LLC issues Form 1099-NEC where required by law.
Conduct
Follow the instructions of event supervisors, venue and client safety rules, and Talent Team policies. We may decline or end your participation for no-shows, misconduct, or misuse of the platform.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: care@talentteamllc.com.
